This may be a long list for most of us, but I am curious where you have all lived and moved in your whole lifetime. I will atempt to create mine:

New Orleans(born)
Lubbock, TX
Midland, TX
(Back to) New Orleans
Roy, UT
Ogden, UT (2 houses)
Shoshone, ID
St. George, UT
Knoxville, TN
Ogden, UT (again)
Evanston, WY
Went on a summer long raod trip (2000) Where I kinda lived in these places: San Fransisco, Santa Cruz, Morro Bay, Some where on the side of a freeway in California where there was an abandoned fruit stand (the camper broke down there, and we were there for about a week) Jackson, Montana for the Rainbow Gathering
Back to Ogden, UT
Salt Lake City, UT
Coure d' Lane, ID
Houston, TX
St. George, UT
Las Vegas, NV
Shoshone, ID
Boise, ID
Ogden, UT
Salt Lake City, UT (now)

I think I got them all...

Hello, I just joined this tribe. When I was 5 years old I used to tell my Mom I wanted to be a Nomad when I grew up, well now you should see her address book of all the places I have lived it's crazy.

        Ravenna, Ohio (born in)
        Woodsfield, Ohio
        Rootstown, Ohio
        Kent, Ohio
        Akron, Ohio
        Palm Harbor, Florida
        New Port Richey, Florida
        Tarpon Springs, Florida
        Tampa, Florida
        Clearwater, Florida
        Manhattan, Kansas
        (back to) Tarpon Springs, Florida
New Port Richey, Florida ( back again)
        Columbus, Ohio
        Louisville, Kentucky
        (back again to) Columbus, Ohio
        (back to) Woodsfield, Ohio
        Powhatan Point, Ohio
        Bellaire, Ohio
        (back to) Columbus, Ohio
        Ravenswood, West Virginia,
        Belpre, Ohio
        Parkersburg, West Virginia
(back to) Woodsfield, Ohio where I am now.
I have been fighting the urge to move again but I am really trying to stay where I am for a while for my kids sake. They keep asking me, "What kind of school are we going to next year Mom?" and I keep telling them probably the same one you went to half a year this year.
I have had offers only in the past few months to move to Miami, Baton Rouge, and to Colorado. I think I will *try* to stop traveling until my kids get older.

        I love it tho....being a gypsy.

Some places I've gone back and forth so I only listed them once.
    Overland Park KS
    Kiel Germany 3 different places
    Monticello NY
    New Paltz NY
    Miami FL
    Woodstock NY
    Osage Beach MO
    KC MO
    Kc KS
    Deerfield MO
    KC MO present
My mom thought it was very important to travel. As a single mom on a teachers salary every summer she would take us some where in the states. She thought it was her parental duty to show us as much of the world as possible. She had been to every state herself except Alaska and Hawaii. What's intersting is my job. I think that helps me with the travel bug the most. I sell and perform at ren fairs and SCA events. My yearly schedule looks like this:
    Feb Estrella SCA AZ
    March Gulf SCA MS
April OK Ren fair, Wichita Ren fair
May sometimes we go out west to explore
    June Lilie SCA MO
    Aug Pennsic SCA PA
    sept-oct KC Ren fair
Nov visit husbands family in GA
Every winter I think Man is meant to be Nomadic. The Indians had the right idea. In the winter they went South and in the Summer they went North. When I'm in AZ or MS I always think about buying a house some place south just so I don't have to deal with the cold in the winter. We always try to take time out and go exploring. We see the Ocean almost every year and try to find places of natural beauty or of historical interst. One of my favorite spots is NW GA I often wonder why we don't live there because it is so beautiful, but then I think of the good ol boys network in the south and that usually brings me back to reality. No offense to any southerners.
The 16 months I lived in Germany I travelled all over europe. I've also been down to the Yucatan and explored the pyramids down there for about a month. Also Highly recommended. Layla

For living, it must be travel.
For this list, it is the portion of my current life which is retained in my really foggy memory ;)
However. I have come to know some places very well by living there for a long enough spell to grok it fully:
        Dead Tour
        Rainbow
        Hitch-hiking
        Southern Missisippi/backwoods
New Orleans ~ levy/audobon ghetto uptown
Portland ~ 92nd St & huge complex across from REED closer to 39th

I had to add my list to your tribe's lists. Especially when i realized how many of them had the same places as I do. So here goes.

My folksa are from the Wilammette Valley area of Western Oregon, but....
Born, Biloxi, Mississippi 1972 (father was military)
      Montgomery, Alabama 1974(father restationed)
Philomath, Oregon 1975 (father got out of militery, phew)
Corvallis, Oregon 1976(father went to OSU)
Salem, Oregon 1977(We moved to the big city, ha ha)
I have few memories from my early childhood, but folks divorced in 1982. I continued to live in Salem between parents houses, till I was 15 and discovered hitch hiking.
      PART 2 the wonder years
Portland, Oregon (on and off from 1987-1997)
From her on much is a blurr,
      Eugene, Oregon
      Sacramento
      San Fran
      Seattle
      Yakima
      Hollywood (1996)
Then I got into hopping trains, I was 20 the first time
      Part 3 the rails
      Denver 1994
      San Fran 1991 and '92
      L.A./Hollywood 1993 and '96
Austin, Tx 1993 (pre gras) and 1995 (pre gras) and 1996 just cuz it rocked there. I was a volunterr at project P.H.A.S.E. across from UT campus, also worked at Taco bell
Memphis, Tn 1993 (post gras) and 1995 (post gras) <- that time I had a grey van named Ezra and worked at a cajun joint
New Orleans Mardi Gras 1993 and 1995- Ran with random pals the first time, ran with Hobo Core the second time.
Part 4 swapped bed roll for diaper bag
Portland again for about 5 months in late 1996 to early 1997
      (HAD KID IN AUGUST)
      Salem till November 1997
      Moved to Matanuska Valley, Alaska
      Wasilla, Ak
      Palmer, Ak
      Eagle River, Ak
      Anchorage, Ak
and after 10 yrs and a failed attempt with marriage, I am back in Oregon.
      Phew, there it is.
P.S. brand new to this site, love it!!
